Like the Tiago and Tigor, the Nexon will have a white backlit instrument cluster with identical dials for the speedometer, tachometer, fuel level and engine water temperature, flanking a multi-info display. The top-end model also gets plenty of piano black, silver and chrome trim panels, automatic climate control, start/stop button, steering-mounted audio controls, a rear parking camera and an Harman-based floating touchscreen infotainment system with voice commands and a rear-view camera interface.

Other features confirmed by Tata Motors include 44-liter fuel tank, rear AC vents, dual airbags, advanced dual path suspension, 9th generation ABS with EBD with Corner Stability Control and ISOFIX.

The Nexon is Tata's first sub-4m SUV, measuring 3,995 mm in length, 1,811 mm in width and 1,607 mm in height, has a wheelbase of 2,498 mm and a ground clearance of 200 mm. The diesel variant is confirmed to pack an all-new 1.5-litre Revotorq turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox, which is expected to average around 22 km/L fuel mileage. It will feature a drive mode selector with City, Eco and Sport modes, and a terrain management system.
