Expected to debut in early 2018.

The Porsche Macan was originally introduced in 2013 and Porsche is now working on a facelift for it. Based on spy media, IAB's automotive illustrator has created a rendering to show the expected changes on the compact SUV with the mid-cycle update.

Typical for any Porsche, the Porsche Macan would see very minute changes in terms of styling.

Typical of a Porsche, the Macan would see soft changes in styling which will include tweaked headlamps with new graphics, remodelled bumpers with new air ducts and repositioned turn indicators (front). New wheel designs could help give some freshness to the profile of the SUV. The tail lamps too may get a minor change with new graphics.

Interior spy shots have not surfaced yet, but expect updated tech and a few changes to the cabin themes.

The 2018 Porsche Macan is said to gain new turbocharged V6 petrol engines from the second generation Porsche Panamera. Developed in cooperation with sister brand Audi, these units would replace the existing 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 and 3.6-litre turbocharged V6 petrol engines currently offered in the Porsche Macan. The new engines will have 2.9- and 3.0-litre displacements. In the Panamera, the 3.0-litre unit develops 325 bhp and 332 lb.-ft. (450 Nm) of torque/335 bhp and 339 lb.-ft. (460 Nm) of torque. The 2.9-litre unit produces 434 bhp and 405 lb.-ft. (550 Nm) of torque.
