First units of the Tata Ace Zip XL has started reaching dealerships reveals these images shared by Autosarena. With an official announcement expected soon, the mini-truck has a longer loading bay that can take in 100 litres more than the Tata Ace Zip. The premium variant was showcased at the Auto Expo 2014.

Powering the Tata Ace Zip XL is a 611 cc single cylinder, water-cooled mill coupled to a 4-speed TA 59 synchromesh gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 12.47 hp of maximum power at 3,000 rpm and 38 Nm of peak torque in the range of 1,200 to 1,800 rpm. The fuel tank can store 10-litre of fuel.

The Tata Ace Zip XL has a bigger and broader loading bay measuring 1,927 mm and 1,480 mm respectively. The LCV weighs 710 kg (kerb) and has a gross vehicle weight of 1,310 kg. The ground clearance stands at 150 mm and has 12-inch wheels. It can take on a gradability of 22 percent even with a full load and has a turning radius of 3.5 m.
