It measures 3,992 mm in length, 1,677 mm in width and 1,537 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,450 mm and a ground clearance of 170 mm. There's 419 litres of space available in the car's boot.

The Tata Tigor is available with the same engines as the Tata Tiago hatchback on which it is based. The petrol model gets the 1.2-litre Revotron three-cylinder unit that develops 85 PS at 6,000 rpm and 114 Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm. The diesel model is powered by the 1.05-litre Revotorq three-cylinder diesel engine that delivers 70 PS at 4,000 rpm and 140 Nm of torque between 1,800 rpm and 3,000. A 5-speed manual transmission is standard, and customers willing for an automatic model will have to wait for only a few months, our sources say.
