2017 Yamaha V-Ixion may be available in two variants - Indonesia
Neelanjan Chakraborty, Motorcycle Nut, will ride, preferably race anything on two wheels!
The Yamaha V-Ixion will be gaining the new 155 cc VVA mill seen in the Yamaha R15 v3.0.
The 2017 Yamaha V-Ixion may be offered in two variants reveals a report in TMCBlog. The bikes have been codenamed BK6 MT and BK6-R MT.
While no official detail is available yet but there is a possibility that the BK6-R MT might be a feature loaded model with possibly upside down forks up front. It can even be the standard motorcycle with a MotoGP colour scheme.
The spy image also reveals that the standard version of the motorcycle will be priced at IDR 19.5 million for the standard version and IDR 20.3 million for the BK6-R trim. The Yamaha V-Ixion powered by the 4-valve 155.1 cc mill in the Yamaha R15 v3.0 is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 19.31 PS of maximum power at 10,000 rpm and 14.7 Nm of peak torque at 8,500 rpm.
Slipper clutch may be given a miss in the 2017 Yamaha V-Ixion to keep costs under check. Several spy shots have confirmed that the bike gets halogen headlamp and right side down telescopic forks.
The 2017 Yamaha V-Ixion gets disc brakes all around and so far none of the test units spotted so far has been seen with an ABS ring.
