The Indian-spec 2017 Toyota Corolla Altis should have changes similar to those on the Thai-spec 2017 Toyota Corolla. Adopting the company's new Under Priority and Keen Look design, the facelifted Corolla Altis now features a refreshed look with a slimmer radiator grille, bi-beam LED projector headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights, modified front bumper, a larger air dam, new alloy wheels and LED tail lamp guide.

On the inside, the 2017 Toyota Corolla Altis features newly-designed front console HVAC vents and updated MID. Besides possible changes to the equipment offered in the range, not much is expected to change here.

The 2017 Toyota Corolla Altis will likely continue with the same engine options. The petrol model is powered by the 2ZR-FE 1.8-litre four-cylinder engine that produces 103 kW (138.07 hp) and 173 Nm of torque and is available with a 6-speed manual transmission and a continuously variable transmission. The diesel model gets its power from the 1ND-TV 1.4-litre four-cylinder engine that develops 65 kW (87.13 hp) and 205 Nm of torque. A 6-speed manual transmission is standard in this model. The facelifted model will have better ride quality though, thanks to an improved suspension system.
