2017 KTM Duke 390 launched in Nagpur at INR 222,868

The 2017 KTM Duke 390 was unveiled at EICMA 2016 in November.

The 2017 KTM Duke 390 has started launching in more cities, and in the latest, its availability has been extended to Nagpur. The bike was nationally launched on February 23, 2017.

The bike is powered by a 373.2 cc single cylinder, liquid cooled, fuel injected, DOHC mill which is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. The 2017 KTM Duke 390 continues to get a slipper clutch and produces 43.5 PS of maximum power at 9,000 rpm and 37 Nm (up by 2 Nm) of peak torque at 7,000 rpm. It even boasts of a power-to-weight ratio of 267 PS/tonne.

Additional changes include adjustable front brake and clutch lever, ride by wire and a bigger 320 mm front disc. The 2017 KTM Duke 390 also gets a new LED headlamp setup while the old LCD instrumentation has been swapped for a new TFT unit. The ground clearance has been increased by 15 mm to 185 mm, and the seat height has been increased by 30 mm to 830 mm.

The bike now tips the scales (dry) at 149 kg which is a significant increase primarily because of the new side-mounted exhaust canister which helps the bike be Euro 4 compliant. Tyres for the 2017 KTM Duke 390 continue to be sourced from Metzeler.

The 2017 KTM Duke 390 is powered by a 373.2 cc mill which is capable of producing 43.5 PS of power and 37 Nm of torque.

The 2017 KTM Duke 390 has been priced at INR 222,868 (ex-showroom, Nagpur) which is a bump of INR 29,954 over the 2016 model. The on-road Nagpur price is INR 252,421.
