Chevrolet Thailand has launched the facelifted 2017 Chevrolet Colorado High Country Storm at the 2017 Bangkok International Motor Show. It is priced at 1.028 million baht for the 4x2 variant and 1.098 million baht for the 4x4 version.

Slotting above the regular Colorado High Country, the Storm version comes with a black accessory package that comprises of a sport bar, gloss black 18-inch alloy wheels, black door handles, gloss black tailgate handle, outer belt moulding and a black plastic rear bumper with parking sensors. The hood features the Colorado High Country logo and a 'Storm' decal across the profile. Also new is the ‘Blue Me Away’ exterior colour, as seen in the show car.

Some of the standard equipment in the new Chevrolet Colorado High Country STORM include Automatic headlamp on/off, remote start, tire pressure monitoring system, Chevrolet MyLink infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Siri Eyes Free, three airbags (dual airbag plus driver's knee airbag), Lane Departure Warning and Forward Collision Alert.

Under the hood is a 2.5-litre DURAMAX turbodiesel four-cylinder engine that produces 132 kW (180 hp) at 3,600 rpm and 440 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm. The Euro IV-compliant engine is paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission as standard and can be had with a 4x4 drivetrain.
