Isuzu D-Max X-Series launched in Philippines

Isuzu's mid-size pickup gets a new sporty variant.

Isuzu has launched the Isuzu D-Max X-Series in the Philippines. The X-Series is the second variant of the D-Max LS, and the fourth addition to the D-Max range.

The D-Max X-Series variant is based on the LS grade.

Up front, the Isuzu D-Max X-Series features a gun-metallic radiator grille, red Isuzu badge and a functional bumper skirt which is highlighted by red striping. On the sides, the D-Max X-Series gets special side skirt and exclusive two-tone 18-inch alloy wheels. Three colour choices are available: Splash White, Venetian Red and Cosmic Black.

Special features are not limited just to the exterior. The Isuzu D-Max X-Series gets matching red accents on the black leather seats, X-Series badges on the front seats and piano black trim on various surfaces.

The Isuzu D-Max X-Series is powered by the 4JJI-TC (HI) 163 PS 3.0-litre diesel engine.

The Isuzu D-Max X-Series is powered by the 4JJI-TC (HI) 3.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine that produces 163 PS (120 kW) at 3,200 rpm and 380 Nm of torque at 1,800-2,200 rpm. Transmission choices include 5-speed manual and 5-speed automatic. A four-wheel drive system is not available in the D-Max X-Series.

The manual transmission model is priced at Php 12,60,000, and the automatic transmission model is priced at Php 13,30,000.
