2017 Honda Activa 125 launched at INR 56,945

The Honda Activa 125 was introduced first in April 2014. The scooter was targeted at people who wanted a little more power.

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt Ltd has launched the 2017 Honda Activa 125 in India with BSIV compliance and AHO. The new scooter has additional features like mobile charging point, LED pilot lamp and retractable front hook.

The 2017 Honda Activa is now BSIV compliant and gets AHO with CBS as standard.

The powertrain is the same 124.9 cc mill but the outputs have changed. The engine produces 8.52 bhp (down from 8.6 bhp) of maximum power at 6,500 rpm and 10.54 Nm of peak torque at 5,000 rpm (up from 10.12 Nm). The 2017 Honda Activa 125 gets Combined Braking System as standard across the range while the top end trim gets a front disc brake. A new mid-variant with alloy wheel and drum brakes has also been introduced.

A new Mat Crust Metallic colour has also been added the Honda Activa 125, raising the number of available colours to 5. The scooter gets telescopic suspension up front, a longer and wider seat, a 12-inch rim wheel up front and a longer wheelbase.

The 2017 Honda Activa is powered by a 124.9 cc mill which is capable of producing 8.52 bhp of maximum power and 10.54 Nm of peak torque.

The 2017 Honda Activa 125 prices have been upped by INR 500. The base variant costs INR 56,945, while the new mid trim costs INR 58,900 (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi). The top end trim with all the bells and whistles is priced at INR 61,362 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
