The Yamaha R15 is now in its most powerful iteration in the form of the v3.0.

Yamaha has kept its promise with the R15 v3.0, delivering significant safety and technology updates. However, colour options are fairly limited and a rendering of the Yamaha R15 in its MotoGP colours by TMCBlog is an unfinished business taken care of unofficially.

With its sporty design package, the Yamaha R15 v3.0 in this rendering of MotoGP livery looks all set to take on the race tracks.

The bike is inspired from the livery of the 2017 Yamaha M1 which factory riders Valentino Rossi and Maverick Vinales are scheduled to ride this season.

The MotoGP paint scheme on the Yamaha R15 has been very popular in South East Asia, especially Indonesia. A Moto GP edition of the R15 was launched in India when the v2.0 debuted, but that did not get the same livery.

At the heart of the Yamaha R15 v3 is a new 155.1 cc single cylinder, liquid cooled fuel injected VVA mill. The engine is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox and is capable of producing 19.31 PS of maximum power at 10,000 rpm and 14.7 Nm of peak torque at 8,500 rpm, the highest power output in its segment.

That’s not all, the Yamaha R15 v3 also gets premium parts like an assist and slipper clutch, upside down forks up front and LED headlamps. This will seriously make the new R15 significantly more expensive than the present version.

The Yamaha R15 v3.0 price for Indonesia is expected to be announced next month while an Indian launch could happen in mid-2017.
