The 2018 Ford F-150 features an imposing front-end compared to the outgoing model, thanks to the new grille design with wider bars that extend into the restyled, bigger lamps. The facelift also brings modified bumpers, six all-new wheel designs with sizes ranging from 17- to 22-inches, a newly sculpted tailgate with deeper accent form and new tail lamp designs.

With the facelift, two new seating trim colours will be available in the Ford F-150 - Dark Marsala (Platinum) and Navy Pier (Limited). The XLT and Lariat Sport trim levels will be available with carbon-fiber appearance appliques, while the F-150 King Ranch gains Kingsville Appointed seats. The new F-150 further features segment-first adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality and Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection, embedded 4G LTE modem for a Wi-Fi hotspot and new B&O PLAY audio system.

The significant change in the 2018 Ford F-150 is the revised engine line-up. An all-new 3.0-liter Power Stroke diesel engine is available, and so is an all-new, standard 3.3-liter V6 engine as a replacement for the standard 3.5-liter V6 engine. The existing 5.0-liter V8 engine is significantly more powerful and torquier, paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission for the first time.
