The Bajaj V brand is slowly emerging as a replacement to the Discover family.

The recently confirmed Bajaj V12 has been spotted at a dealership by India.com. The images reveal a familiar design following the path initiated by the Bajaj V15.

Bajaj V12 side
Bajaj V12 has been spied at a dealership showing different alloy wheels and redesigned engine case and crankcase cover.

The premium commuter gets the same neo-classical styling with a similar fuel tank and headlamp. The rear seat cowl brings in the same cafe racer inspired looks. The alloy wheels of the Bajaj V12 are different from the V15 and have a clear resemblance the ones seen in the Bajaj Discover 125.

The engine, though not confirmed by Bajaj, is expected to be the same 124.6 cc DTS-i mill. The Bajaj V12 spied gets a different crankcase cover and engine head. Coupled to a 5 speed gearbox, this engine in the Discover 125 is capable of producing 11 PS of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 10.8 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. We expect the output figures to be the same in the Bajaj V12.

The suspension setup in the front gets a rubber cover, much like the one seen in the Bajaj Avenger Street 220 and Street 150. The front wheel is seen fitted with a drum brake and a disc brake be available as an option.

Bajaj V12 details
The overall design philosophy of the Bajaj V15 remains the same as that of the V15. The Bajaj V12 will be priced around INR 56,200 (Ex-showroom).

At a recent press conference Bajaj Auto confirmed that the production of the Bajaj V12 has already commenced and will have an asking price of about INR 56,200 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
