The current Mitsubishi ASX will reach the end of its lifecycle next year and MMC is working on a redesigned model that will be introduced next year. As its testing & development continues globally, the 2018 Mitsubishi ASX was recently spied testing by Twitter user hotaka_ltd in Japan, with no camouflage.
The next-gen Mitsubishi ASX is expected to have hints of the Mitsubishi Concept XR-PHEV II in its design. The 2018 Mitsubishi ASX will be one of the company’s last models to be developed completely in-house, as further ahead we see Mitsubishi models having synergies with the Renault-Nissan Alliance’s technologies. The 2018 Mitsubishi ASX will debut next year, but no credible information about the redesigned model’s launch timeline is available yet.
