KTM will unveil a new Duke model at EICMA 2016 on 8 November, the company has confirmed in a teaser. It's unclear whether it is the Duke 800 or the next-gen Duke 390, that the Bajaj-owned Austrian company is referring to.

The new split-headlamp design premiered on the new KTM Adventure range presented at the INTERMOT last month.

The exhaust note suggests that it's not a single-cylinder motorcycle, which could mean that the 800 cc twin-cylinder engine-powered Duke 800 is the future model shown. Note that the motorcycle is revved in a tight space between large storage containers and the echoing could make the exhaust louder than it is.

The 2017 KTM Duke 390 is reported to feature a Euro IV-compliant, upgraded version of the current model's 373.27 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. Ride-by-wire technology will be present in the all-new model, at least in the international markets.

The 2017 KTM Duke 390 will have a regular exhaust canister, and it will be 4-5 kg heavier compared to the outgoing model. Other known tidbits are, Separate Function Forks, LED headlights, LED taillight and a full-colour digital instrument panel with smartphone integration function.
