2017 Nissan Micra review details every new feature [Video]

A video review of the 2017 Nissan Micra from VadimAuto details the changes and upgrades made to the fifth generation hatchback. Nissan has confirmed that it will go on sale in Europe from March 2017. The new model is manufactured in France and is based on a heavily reengineered V-platform.

The Micra featured has an interesting dark grey exterior with orange accents around the foglamps, side body cladding, hood, and rear bumper, which match with the dual tone black and orange interior. This is available to prospective customers as an optional exterior pack. It also features 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, while a bigger 17-inch Perso set of alloy rims seen at the 2016 Paris Motor Show showcar is also available.

The new Micra has noticeably grown in size, measuring 170 mm longer, 77 mm wider and 69 mm shorter, and has a 75 mm longer wheelbase than the outgoing India-made model. Overall, the Gen5 Micra measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,742 mm in width, 1,452 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,525 mm.

One of the most lauded changes is its interior, which is a departure from that of the outgoing model.

In France, the 2017 Nissan Micra is priced between EUR 13,590 - EUR 21,590, and comes in five grades: Visia, Visia Pack, Acenta, N-Connecta and Tekna. There are two petrol engines and one diesel unit on offer at launch: a 73 PS 1.0L 3-cyl engine, 90 PS 0.9-litre turbocharged 3-cyl petrol engine and a 90 PS 1.5-litre turbodiesel DCi 4-cyl engine. The only transmission option is a 5-speed manual gearbox.
