Nissan Terrano AMT launched at INR 13.75 lakhs; 14 new features announced

Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd today announced prices of the Nissan Terrano AMT, which is currently available for customers to book. The Terrano AMT, based on the XVD Premium grade, will cost between INR 13.75 – INR 13.85 lakhs, ex-showroom, Delhi. The booking deposit stands at INR 25,000, and sales will commence later this month.

The Nissan Terrano AMT borrows its ZF-sourced 6-speed AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) from the Renault Duster. Available only on the top-end 1.5-liter dCi engine variant, it develops 110 PS of power and 248 Nm of torque and delivers an ARAI rated efficiency of 19.61 kmpl.

Similar to the Duster AMT, the Terrano AMT too receives Hill Assist Control and Electronic Stability Program (ESP). Other features include electrically folding wing mirrors with integrated turn signals, anti-pinch driver side window, a new driver armrest, soft touch plastics on the dashboard, and door trim. Aside from this, white backlit illumination on door switches, new door trim design, one touch turn indicators, and automatic warning for emergency braking will be standard across all variants.

On the exterior, Nissan have introduced a new Sandstone Brown shade (seen in image) to the color palette. There are no further changes to the Terrano which went on sale in India around three years ago.
