The first Maruti to feature a Harman Kardon system could be the Ignis.
According to a Team-BHP report, future Marutis will come equipped with music systems from Harman Kardon, from 2017. The first model to feature a Harman Kardon music system could be the Maruti Ignis, while rest of the models are likely to receive it in a major facelift or when the next generation version rolls out.
Harman Kardon is a known supplier of top-end audio systems to luxury manufacturers. Courtesy of Tata Motors, Harman has also penetrated the entry level segments. Range-topping variants of the Tata Zest, Bolt and Tiago come equipped with a Harman system co-developed with Tata, which has received praise for its audio quality.

It's unclear if Maruti will strike a close partnership with Harman Kardon similar to that of Tata Motors with the supplier. If the plan is green lit, future top-end Marutis will feature a Harman Kardon system that would be manufactured and supplied from their production facility in Pune, Maharashtra.
