The Kwid 1.0 is powered by a 999 cc three cylinder SCe petrol engine, which produces 68 PS and 91 Nm of torque.

The main highlight of the new variant is its all new 1.0L (999 cc) three cylinder SCe engine, which produces 68 PS and 91 Nm. It is paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard, while an AMT variant will arrive in the market soon. Thanks to the lightweight chassis, the Kwid 1.0’s power-to-weight ratio is rated at 97 PS/tonne, which is best-in-class.

The Kwid 1.0 will be sold in RxT and RxT (O) grades. It will carryover the feature list from the less powerful Kwid 0.8 variant currently sold, including a 7 inch MEDIANAV touchscreen system and driver’s airbag. A front passenger airbag and ABS are still not part of the safety features list.
