TVS Apache RTR 200 4V launched in Goa

TVS Motors launched its Apache RTR 200 4V in Goa recently. The company had soft launched the bike in Chennai in January this year and has slowly been taking it to different states across the country.

In both trims, the Apache RTR 200 4V develops 18.1 Nm of torque.

Measuring 2,050 mm in length and 1,105 mm in height, the semi-naked sports bike gets 1,353 mm in wheelbase and 180 mm of ground clearance. The RTR 200 4V is the most powerful bike from the manufacturer and is powered by a 197.75 cc, SOHC, four-valve, oil-cooled engine and is fitted with either a carburettor or an electronic fuel injection system.

The single-cylinder engine when fitted with a carburettor develops 20.5 PS at 8,500 rpm and 21 PS with an EFI system. In both trims, the bike produces peak torque of 18.1 Nm. A standard 5-speed gearbox does duty on the bike.

At the front is a telescopic suspension setup, while the rear gets an offset monoshock suspension. Stopping power comes from 270 mm petal disc brake at the front and 240 mm petal disc brake at the rear with ABS. TVS Remora or Pirelli tyres can be specced on the Apache RTR 200 4V.
