Suzuki Vitara compact SUV to launch in Argentina in September - Report

At its unveil in Uruguay, Suzuki has revealed to the media that the Suzuki Vitara compact SUV will launch in Argentina in September. It will launch in three variants: 2WD GL, 4WD GL Plus and 4WD GLX, and is expected to be priced between ARS 27,500-42,000 (INR 12.26 lakhs to INR 18.72 lakhs) depending on the variant chosen.

The Suzuki Vitara will launch in three variants: 2WD GL, 4WD GL Plus and 4WD GLX.

The Vitara will launch with a 1.6L four cylinder petrol engine that produces 120 hp and 156 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox, while an ALLGRIP AWD with various modes is available.

Top-end variants will get seven airbags, USB and Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control, projector headlamps and automatic AC, keyless entry with an engine starter button, suede seat fabrics, a panoramic sunroof, projector headlights and 17-inch alloy wheels.

The Vitara measures 4,175 mm long, 1,775 mm wide and 1,610 mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 2,500 mm.
