The video gives short glances of the sportbike, which is expected to derive design cues from the Honda Lightweight Supersports concept which was presented at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. The teaser points to the sharply-styled muscular tank, a large, ventilated, petal-shaped front disc with ABS and an overall profile resembling the Supersports concept.

According to reports, the Honda CBR250RR will be powered by a 250 cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine developing around the whereabouts of 37 hp, paired to a 6-speed gearbox. Honda could also equip its new sportsbike with a Ride-by-Wire technology, given Austrian rival KTM is keen on bringing this technology to more of its products.
