VW Up! (facelift) launched in Europe

Facelift brings new 1.0 TSI engine to the VW Up!.

Following the car's debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show in March, Volkswagen has started sales of the 2017 VW Up! (facelift) in Europe. Prices of the 2017 VW Up! (facelift) in Germany start at €9,850 (INR 7,52,602.95) and go up to €13,875 (INR 10,60,138.68).

The 2017 VW Up! is available in three (petrol)/two (petrol-CNG) trim levels.

The 2017 VW Up! is available in two models: petrol and petrol-CNG. The petrol model is available with two engine options: a 1.0-litre MPI three-cylinder engine producing 44 kW (60 PS) and 95 Nm of torque, a 1.0-litre MPI three-cylinder engine producing 55 kW (75 PS) and 95 Nm of torque and a 1.0-litre TSI three-cylinder engine producing 66 kW (90 PS) and 160 Nm of torque. The MPI units can be opted with a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed ASG automated manual transmission. The TSI unit is available only with a 5-speed manual transmission.

The petrol-CNG model's combustion engine is a 1.0-litre MPI three-cylinder unit good for 50 kW (68 PS) and 90 Nm of torque. It's mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.

The 2017 VW Up! is available with a new 66 kW (88.47 hp) 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine.

The 2017 VW Up! is available in 13 colours, including 7 new introduced with the facelift: Teal Blue, Coral Red, Costa Azul, Honey Yellow, Edelweiss, Habanero Orange and Savanna Gold. Range is divided into three trim levels: take up!, move up! and high up! (not available in petrol-CNG model). For personalizing the car even further, Volkswagen offers three roof colours and ten different dashboard designs as well.
