Toyota has finally revealed the interior of the Toyota C-HR, following its world debut in production form at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. The heavily styled crossover will start arriving in showrooms before the end of 2016.

The interior of the Toyota C-HR follows the urban, sporty theme of its exterior, featuring generous curves and a handful of buttons that culminate to form a simple and contemporary interior design. The highlight of the dashboard is a 6.1-inch wide freestanding touchscreen display along with a digital clock. The center console itself is slightly angled towards the driver for a driver-focused approach.

The Toyota C-HR is based on the TNGA (Toyota New Global Architecture) global platform, which also underpins the fourth generation Toyota Prius. It measures 4,350 mm long, 1,795 mm wide and 1,550 mm tall, and has a 2,640 mm wheelbase.

Engine lineup will include a 1.2L petrol, 2.0L petrol and a hybrid. The 1.2L turbocharged petrol engine makes 72 kW (97 hp) and 142 Nm of torque and is available with a 6-speed manual gearbox or CVT. The 2.0L N/A petrol engine produces 148 hp and 193 Nm of torque and is fitted with a CVT as standard.

The hybrid powertrain combines a 72 kW (97 hp) 1.8-litre petrol engine with a 53 kW (71 hp) electric motor. Power is sent to the front wheels via an electronically-controlled CVT.
