Honda Navi crosses 10,000 units in sales

Towards the end of last month, the Honda Navi's sales were being reported to be over 5,000 units. Now, according to a new report from ZigWheels, the sales have surpassed 10,000 units. Clearly, Honda's new motorcycle-scooter hybrid is having a high demand in the market.

The Honda Navi was launched at Auto Expo 2016 for a surprisingly low price for a Honda - INR 39,500 (ex-showroom New Delhi).

The Honda Navi is the first vehicle to have been developed from the ground-up by Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India. The Navi measures 1,805 mm in length, 748 mm in width and 1,286 mm in wheelbase, and has a ground clearance of 156 mm and a seat height of 765 mm. It's not only very compact, but also very light, weighing at just 101 kg.

The Honda Navi is powered by a 7.83 hp 110 cc engine.

The Honda Navi shares the 110 cc HET single-cylinder engine with the Honda Activa 3G. This engine produces 7.83 hp at 7,000 rpm and 8.96 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm, and is linked to a V-matic transmission (continuously variable transmission). The Navi can be driven at speeds of up to 81 km/h.
