Honda Amaze facelift gets all-new projector headlights for Thai market

No changes to the mechanicals.

Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has launched the Honda Amaze facelift (Honda Brio Amaze facelift as it is called) and the Brio facelift with a slew of exterior and interior updates.

While the Brio facelift is similar to the Indonesian-spec model, the Amaze facelift gets new projector headlights with LED light guides, similar to the Honda Mobilio RS and the Honda Brio RS variants. This is complemented with a new grille, a new front bumper, redesigned taillight elements, new alloy wheels and an integrated bootlid spoiler.

Inside, the Amaze facelift is similar to the Indian market model. It gets the new dashboard design with a Bluetooth-enabled music system, a new MID (Multi Information Display), a Smart Key System, and Push Start Ignition (the latter two features are unavailable on the Indian market Amaze facelift).

The compact sedan is available only with a CVT in Thailand.

The compact sedan continues to be powered by the 1.2-liter four-cylinder i-VTEC petrol engine paired to a CVT. The engine develops 90 PS and 110 Nm of torque similar to the Indian model (Note: The Amaze MT develops 88 PS and 109 Nm of torque, the higher power and torque values are exclusive to the CVT).

The Honda Brio Amaze facelift is available in two variants, which are the V CVT, priced at 517,000 Baht (INR 971,529), and the SV CVT, priced at 577,000 Baht (INR 10.84 lakhs).
