Dual front airbags are standard on the Honda BR-V.

Price wise, the Honda BR-V competes with the top-end variants of the Ford EcoSport and Maruti Vitara Brezza, which are positioned in a segment lower, and with compact SUVs like the Renault Duster and Hyundai Creta. The Mahindra Scorpio too is a worthy adversary given its 7-seater status.

For the Indian market, the Honda BR-V is offered with 1.5-liter i-VTEC petrol and 1.5-liter i-DTEC diesel engines from the EarthDreams family. The petrol is paired to an all-new 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT with paddle shifters, whereas the diesel comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox only.
