Expected to launch in June 2016.

VW India is working on a special edition of the VW Polo that commemorates the 2016 UEFA European Championship football tournament. Dubbed as the VW Polo AllStar edition, it has been spotted testing again undisguised on Indian roads, ahead of its impeding market release.

Launched in Europe last year and unveiled recently at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, the hatchback features ‘AllStar’ stickers on the B-pillar and the fender, ‘AllStar’ lettered sill plates, special alloy wheels, fog lamps and Climatronic automatic climate control system. Note that only the Euro-spec Polo is equipped with headlight washers, heated windshield washer nozzles and heated front seats.

It's unclear if the India-spec AllStar edition will be available in both petrol and diesel variants. The featured vehicle is powered by a 1.5L TDI engine paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox, judging by the TDI badge.
