India-bound Hyundai Tucson spied ahead of its launch in Indonesia

Likely to be launched in India this year.

The 2016 Hyundai Tucson has been spied at what looks like a dealer showroom in Indonesia ahead of its launch at the 2016 Indonesia International Motor Show which will run from 7 April through 17 April.

Seen in the spy shots, originally published by AutonetMagz, is the GLS trim level of the 2016 Hyundai Tucson. The Indonesian publication says that the GLS trim level is equipped with projector headlamps with LED positioning lamps, LED tail lamps, a non-touchscreen multimedia/infotainment system and reversing camera.

The third generation Hyundai Tucson, first showcased at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, is designed based on Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design theme that debuted on the second generation Hyundai Genesis. Internationally, the all-new Hyundai Tucson is available with petrol and diesel engines with displacements ranging from 1.6- to 2.0-litre. The company started teasing the 2016 Tucson on its Indonesian website, but is yet to reveal specifications.

Noteworthy features of the 2016 Hyundai Tucson in the European market include projector headlamps with LED positioning lamps, LED daytime running lights, LED tail lamps, cruise control, satellite navigation, rear HVAC vents, Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) system, Electronic Parking Brake (EPB), Blind Spot Detection (BSD), Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) and Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).
