Maruti-Suzuki has signed an agreement with BCCI to become the official partner of the IPL cricket series in 2016 and 2017.
For this season, Maruti will be showcasing the Vitara Brezza at all IPL matches, and the company believes that the cricket series will be a strong platform to reach its core target audience; garnering attention from prospective car buyers within its duration of two months. The company also plans to have a strong on-air presence, along with social media activities during the season.
Prices for the Maruti Vitara Brezza start from INR 6.99 Lakhs to INR 9.68 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). So far, the company has confirmed they have received over 5,600 bookings for it. It is available for sale from this month across all Maruti dealers in India.

The only engine option available is a 1.3-liter DDiS four-cylinder diesel engine capable of 90 PS and 200 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission which sends power to the front wheels. The Brezza registers a class-leading, ARAI-rated fuel efficiency of 24.3 km/l.
