Vitara Brezza starts at a competitive price of INR 6.99 Lakhs.
Following the Baleno, the Maruti Vitara Brezza is expected to be the next product to start snatching customers away from the Maruti Swift and Swift Dzire.
Kenichi Ayukawa, MD of Maruti Suzuki, is expecting the sales of the Swift and Swift Dzire to come down, given that they're starting to age in the product lineup. Yet, the demand for the Swift siblings are strong, and volumes that are lost to Maruti's newest products could catch up to satisfactory levels in some time, he said.
Prices for the Vitara Brezza were announced on March 8, 2016, which ranges between INR 6.99 Lakhs - 9.68 Lakhs. The company has already received 2,600 bookings for the sub-4m SUV.

The Maruti Vitara Brezza is only available with a 1.3-liter DDiS four-cylinder diesel engine capable of 90 PS and 200 Nm of torque. It is paired to a 5-speed manual transmission which sends power to the front wheels. The Vitara Brezza is capable of attaining a class-leading, ARAI-rated fuel efficiency of 24.3 km/l.
