Given the staggering demand for the Maruti Vitara Brezza, Maruti Suzuki India Managing Director and CEO Kenichi Ayukawa expects the sub-4m SUV to aid in company's double-digit growth in the next fiscal.
Mr Ayukawa said:
In the next fiscal we expect our sales to grow in double digits. As for industry it could be 5-10 per cent.
With prices starting from a highly competitive INR 6.99 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi), SUV styling, good list of features, and Maruti's after-sales reputation in the market, the Vitara Brezza appeals to the mass market.
So far, they have received over 20,000 bookings and 70,000 enquiries since its prices were announced a fortnight ago. Deliveries of the Maruti Vitara Brezza will begin from March 25 across all Maruti dealers in India.

It is powered by a 1.3-liter DDiS four-cylinder diesel engine capable of 90 PS and 200 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission which sends power to the front wheels. The Brezza registers a class-leading, ARAI-rated fuel efficiency of 24.3 km/l.
