India-bound Honda BR-V with Modulo accessories - 2016 Bangkok Live

Along with the regular BR-V, Honda is also showcasing the Honda BR-V Modulo which comes completely accessorized with sportier bits and bobs that further ups the vehicle personalization.

For the exterior, Modulo accessories available include front and rear skid plates, running board, 5-spoke Y-shaped alloy wheels, and chrome garnish for wing mirrors. The BR-V measures 4,455 mm in length, 1,735 mm in width, 1,650 mm in height, 2,660 mm in wheelbase and 200 mm in ground clearance.

The Thai-spec BR-V is powered by an E85-compatible version of the 1.5-liter SOHC, four-cylinder i-VTEC engine which develops 117 hp at 6,000 rpm and 146 Nm of torque at 4,700 rpm. The only transmission option is a CVT gearbox.

Honda is, reportedly, prepping to launch the BR-V during the end of May 2016. It will be the first compact crossover from Honda in India, and will compete with the likes of the recently launched Renault Duster facelift and the Hyundai Creta.
