Honda Navi launched at INR 39,500 - Auto Expo 2016

First Honda with 100 percent R&D done in India.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) today launched the Honda Navi, a "new segment in fun riding" according to the manufacturer. The Navi will be available initially in 5 colors and is priced from INR 39,500, ex-Showroom, New Delhi.

HMSI showcased three variants on the Navi at the show - Honda Navi Street, Honda Navi Adventure and Honda Navi off-road. The Navi is the first 100 percent Honda R&D model in India, from concept development to commercial production.

Targeted primarily at the youth, bookings for the Navi are open through an Android application.

The Navi measures 1,805 mm in length, 748 mm in width, 1,039 mm in height and 1,286 mm in wheelbase. It has a ground clearance of 156 mm, a seat height of 765 mm, a kerb weight of 101 kg and a fuel tank capacity of 3.8-liters.

It is powered by the 110 cc single-cylinder engine with the HET (Honda Eco Technology) and is capable of producing 7.83 hp at 7,000 rpm and 8.96 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm mated to the V-matic transmission. It has a top speed of 81 km/h.

The Honda Navi is supported by an UnderBone Type frame with a telescopic suspension up front and a spring loaded hydraulic type unit at the rear. It is shod with 130 mm drum brakes at both ends and 90/90-12 and 90/100-10 tyre at the front and rear respectively.
