Will likely debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.

At the 2016 Geneva Motor Show in March, Fiat is expected to introduce a new compact hatchback pitted against the Renault Megane and the Seat Leon - the Fiat Tipo Hatchback.

The exterior of the Fiat Tipo Hatchback is 75% same as the Fiat Egea (Fiat Tipo) sedan which forms the very basis for it, and an unofficial rendering from Disegnobello shows how the 5-door Fiat Tipo Hatchback may possibly look like.

The Fiat Tipo Hatchback will likely be available only in 5-door form.

The Fiat Tipo Hatchback is the successor to the Fiat Bravo and will be available only in 5-door form. Like the exterior, the interior too will be very similar to that of Fiat Egea (Fiat Tipo) sedan. It will also have Jeep Renegade-like three-spoke, multifunction steering wheel, Uconnect infotainment system with a 5-inch colour touchscreen display, cruise control, and automatic climate control will be a few among the key interior elements.

The Fiat Tipo Hatchback should be offered with 95 hp 1.4 16v Fire and 110 hp 1.6 1.6v E.torQ petrol engines and 95 hp 1.3 MultiJet II and 120 hp 1.6 MultiJet II diesel engines. Transmission choices are expected to include 5- and 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic and 6-speed dual-clutch.

While the Fiat Egea (Fiat Tipo) sedan is available only in left-hand drive, the Fiat Tipo Hatchback will have a right-hand drive version too, and the British media says that it will be sold in the UK next to the Fiat Tipo Estate (name unconfirmed) - also likely to debut in Geneva next month.
