The Royal Enfield Himalayan is expected to be priced from INR 1.65 lakhs.

The new spyshot confirms that the Royal Enfield Himalayan gets panniers, either as an official accessory or as a standard fitment in a high-end version. An RE badge cannot be seen on the case, which suggests that it is a third-party accessory endorsed by the company. The test mule does not have a top-case mount as seen in an earlier spyshot of a different prototype, which indicates that either the plan has been scrapped or that it is a standard part that has been replaced by the pannier system fitted on this model.

The Royal Enfield Himalayan is believed to be powered by a 410 cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine with an oil-cooler that could produce around 24 bhp.

Of the two versions the Royal Enfield Himalayan is expected to be offered, this is the fully-loaded, off-road model that would be priced higher. It is equipped with features such as a heightened fork, a high-mounted front mud flap in addition to the mud guard placed close to the tyre, and a large windshield that make the motorcycle more touring-friendly.
