The KTM Duke 250 and the KTM RC250 are being showcased at the 2015 Thailand Motor Expo. These models are not being sold in Thailand.

The quarter litre duos were unveiled at the 2015 Tokyo Motorcycle Show in late March. They are being manufactured in India and sold in selected markets. In Indonesia, the Duke 250 and RC250 are priced at IDR 69.5 million (INR 3.31 lakhs) and IDR 74.5 million (INR 3.55 lakh), and are being imported as CBUs from Austria despite being made in India at Bajaj Auto's manufacturing facility in Chakan near Pune.

Both the models are powered by a 250 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 30.5 bhp at 9,000 rpm and 24 Nm at 7,250 rpm. The motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox.

The KTM Duke 250 weighs 139 kg and the RC250 weighs 147 kg. They are based on a steel trellis frame and are equipped with WP inverted telescopic fork, rear monoshock, disc brakes at both ends governed by dual-channel Bosch ABS, and they ride on 110/70-R17 and 150/60-R17 tyres. Both these models are not destined for launch in India.
