India-made Hero Dash launched in Nepal - Report

Nepal General Marketing Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of Hero MotoCorp in Nepal, has launched the Hero Dash, the all-new 111 cc scooter that was launched in India as the Hero Maestro Edge in September.

Price of Hero Dash in Nepal:

Hero Dash LX - NPR 1,67,500 (INR 1.04 lakhs)
Hero Dash VX - NPR 1,71,500 (INR 1.07 lakhs)

The Hero Dash is powered by an all-new 111 cc 4-stroke air-cooled single-cylinder engine with SOHC. It produces 8.31 bhp of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 8.3 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm, and is mated to a CVT. The claimed mileage of the Hero Dash is 65.8 km/l.

The Hero Dash is offered in Nepal in two variants - LX and VX.

The salient features on the Dash include the Integrated Braking System, a telescopic fork, 12-inch alloy wheel upfront with a 90/90 tyre, 10-inch alloy wheel at the rear with a 90/100 tyre, a halogen headlamp, turn indicators integrated onto the front apron, a digital-analog instrument cluster, front and under seat luggage hooks, a storage lamp, an LED tail light, titanium-coloured exhaust cover, external fuel filling, anti-theft system (Immobilizer), a USB mobile charger, a ‘service due’ indicator and a maintenance free battery.
