Along with the debut of the second generation Toyota Innova, the company has released its first TV commercial, which should be airing in Indonesian TV channels from today.

Available with two engine options spread across 12 different variants, the 2016 Toyota Innova is priced between Rp. 282 million (INR 13.59 lakhs) to Rp. 423.8 million (INR 20.43 lakhs). It will be sold in three separate trim levels: G, V and Q, each featuring more luxurious goodies than the preceding trim.
The new Innova measures 4,735 mm in length, 1,830 mm in width, 1,795 mm in height and 2,750 mm in wheelbase. On the outside, it gets features such as LED Projector headlamps, 17 inch alloy rims, chrome inserts for dual-slate grille, foglamps, new L-shaped taillamps and a shark fin antenna.

Under the hood, its engine lineup consists of an all-new 2.4-liter GD diesel engine or a 2.0-liter VVT-i petrol engine. Transmission options for both engines include a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. Powertrain characteristics can be adjusted via "PWR" or "ECO" modes, depending on the user.
As for its arrival in India, reports suggest that the new Innova will begin arriving in showrooms from H1 2016. It will be locally produced at TKM's plant in Bidadi, Karnataka.
