The new Evoque gets xenon headlamps and LED DRLs, a honeycomb grille (Dynamic trim), and enlarged air intakes in the bumper that feature slim LED foglamps on the upper portion. The 5-door model is now offered with vents on the bonnet (previously standard on the 3-door model only).

The taillights also has the full LED treatment with a redesigned cluster, while the tailgate is available with a new hands-free function, where the owner can automatically open and close it by waving his/her foot beneath the rear bumper (available on the Euro-spec model).

Inside, the design is largely identical to the older model, save for updated MID graphics and trim materials. It is available with a Meridien audio system, Head Up display, Surround View monitor and Mood lighting.

The facelifted Evoque will continue offering the Ford-sourced 2.2-liter SD4 diesel engine, which produces 187 hp and 420 Nm of torque, instead of the new 2.0-liter Ingenium diesel engine available in its home market of the U.K. The only transmission option available is a 9-speed ZF unit with paddle shifters on the steering wheel.
