Off-road-centric 2016 Hyundai Tucson to debut at SEMA 2015 - IAB Report

Hyundai and Rockster Performance Garage have worked on a one-off Hyundai Tucson that mainly focuses on off-road prowess. It will make its debut at SEMA 2015 in Las Vegas on November 3.

The one-off Hyundai Tucson will make its debut at SEMA 2015 in Las Vegas on November 3.

The one-off Tucson features a rugged exterior design with aggressive bumpers, custom roof rack and LED light bars. It rides on the 17-inch KMC XD Series "Bully" off-road shod with 32-inch Mickey Thompson MTZ P3 tires, and re-designed wheel wells.

The chassis is further modified with an off-road suspension that comprises of adjustable shocks and struts. It increases the ground clearance by 6 inches (152 mm).

Under the hood is Hyundai's 1.6-liter T-GDI turbo four-cylinder petrol engine, but has been re-tuned with a custom air intake, Magnaflow exhaust and various other upgrades. Power is sent to all four wheels via a six-speed dual-clutch transmission and a four-wheel drive system.
