The styling is only subtly revised, with a larger cowl, a bigger tail section housing a new taillamp, and a rather slim exhaust that is further inclined.

The new Ninja ZX-10R gets a roster of new features and electronics, that include Brembo M50 monobloc brake calipers with Brembo idle stroke checked radial master cylinder, WSBK inspired adjustable Showa front forks, a six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit, a launch control system, an engine power mode selection system, a traction control facility, and a brake management feature.

The engine is mostly the same, but with a lighter crankshaft that decreases the inertia by 20 percent. This is claimed to be offering a higher boost in the mid-range.

The 2016 Ninja ZX-10R is expected to launch in India by mid-2016, reports say.
