Designers have given the sedan new front and rear ends, with the front fascia taking inspiration from the Honda Spirior. In comparison to the regular Honda City, sold and manufactured in China by the Guangzhou Honda joint venture, the Greiz gets LED daytime running lights and projector headlights. At the rear, it opts for LED taillights.
However, changes extend merely to the exterior as inside, the Greiz carries over its dashboard and features from the City. Buyers can look forward to a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, a touch panel for the automatic climate control, a Bluetooth-enabled music system and optional leather seats.
Under the hood, the Greiz will be powered by the 1.5-liter EarthDreams i-VTEC petrol engine, reported to produce 131 hp. A CVT with paddle shifters is confirmed on the Greiz, though a base variant with a manual transmission could also be seen.
According to Chinese media reports, the Greiz is likely to be priced from 80,000 yuan (INR 8.3 lakhs), whereas the Honda City costs from 79,800 yuan (INR 8.28 lakhs).
