The 2016 Jaguar XF is on display at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show (2015 IAA), alongside the all-new Jaguar F-Pace SUV and the Jaguar XE sedan. All three cars are based on the new aluminium-intensive iQ platform, signaling the start of a new era for the 80-year old brand.

At launch, the XF is available with a 2.0-liter Ingenium four-cylinder diesel engine capable of 163 bhp and 380 Nm of torque on the base variants, and 180 bhp and 430 Nm of torque on the higher variants.

All engines see an 8-speed automatic transmission, though the Ingenium diesel is also available with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
