New Alfa Romeo Giulia interior spyshots confirm a driver-focused design – Spied

Alfa Romeo had finally got in touch with their roots when they unveiled the performance-oriented Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio on June 25. While the exterior design and exhaust note were revealed, the company had kept the interior design under wraps. However, that didn’t stop photogs to sneak in and take a few shots of the dashboard.
As seen before, Alfa Romeo have decided to keep the interior minimalistic and driver-focused. To complement its performance credentials, the interior appears to be extensively trimmed with carbon fiber, and features Sporty Alcantara leather seats with contrast white and green stitching.
Equipment wise, the Alfa Romeo Giulia comes a dual-zone HVAC system, Alfa DNA selector and an infotainment system navigated through the central dial. The multifunction steering wheel houses the start/stop button, similar to Ferrari’s products.
The Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio packs a twin turbo V6 engine “developed with Ferrari technology”, which delivers 510 hp through a six-speed manual gearbox to the rear wheels, thus enabling the Giulia Quadrifoglio to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds. It may also offer an optional automatic as well as four-wheel drive system for other markets across the globe.
The new Alfa Romeo is expected to make its public debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show in September, followed by product launch in Alfa Romeo’s strongholds in 2016.
