The interior will look largely identical to the design previewed by the Lada Vesta concept. It will feature an upmarket, modern interior characterized by a 3-spoke steering wheel, a music player with Bluetooth connectivity in the center console, a manual transmission, and a conventional mechanical hand brake.

Top-spec variants will be equipped with dual front airbags, heated front seats, electrically adjustable wing mirrors, automatic headlights, automatic wipers and ABS.

The exterior design is based on Lada's latest design philosophy penned by ex-Volvo and ex-Mercedes design chief, Steve Mattin. It debuts Lada's signature ‘X’ motif on the front bumper and side body panels, and is a far cry to its predecessor, the Lada Priora. It measures 4,410 mm long, 1,764 mm wide and 1,497 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,635 mm, and is based on the ‘Lada B’ platform developed by AvtoVAZ and Renault-Nissan.

Engine options, reportedly, will include a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated petrol available with an 8-valve configuration making 87 bhp, and a 16-valve equipped unit with 106 bhp of power. Both engines are paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox, while an AMT option is available for the 16-valve variant. A 1.6-liter 16-valve unit sourced from Renault-Nissan delivering 114 bhp, paired to a 5-speed manual transmission, is also said to be in the mix.
