Will be revealed days before the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.

A Jaguar F-Pace with a production-spec body was spotted up close in East Sussex, UK, by IAB reader Dmytro. Jaguar's first ever crossover will be making its public debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, featuring an aluminum intensive 'iQ' platform, a familiar Jaguar design over the SUV body style, and latest Ingenium range of engines.

The spyshot from Dmytro reveals a design that mirrors the C-X17 concept, save for production-spec changes.

A spyshot from Instagram user Dmytro reveals a design that apes the Jaguar C-X17 concept, save for production-spec changes like bigger side view mirrors and a less striking lower fascia. It is expected to feature Jaguar's newest LED headlamps from the XF, large mesh grille, and a shapely hood. The side will have strong character lines and a muscular shoulder to give it a sport presence, while the rear will feature F-Type-esque taillamps, roof spoiler and a dual exhaust system.

Reecent spyshots have shown that the inside of the Jaguar F-Pace will look almost identical to the design of the smaller XE. The piano-black center console is taken up by the large touchscreen display powered by Jaguar's InControl Touch infotainment system (the 10.2-inch screen on the new XF could be borrowed) with dual view. It also features an F-Type inspired steering wheel and instrument binnacle.

Some of the features expected to cascade from the new XF include laser Head-Up display, Adaptive Cruise Control with Queue assist, semi-automatic park assist, Intelligent Speed Limiter, Wi-Fi hotspot, etc.

Power will be sourced from the 2.0-liter Ingenium range of diesel engines for European markets, as well as the familiar 3.0-liter V6 Supercharged from the F-Type. Also expected is a hotter SVR version featuring Jaguar's 5.0-liter V8 Supercharged engine. Transmission options include a six-speed manual for the base 2.0-liter diesel variants, while the rest will send power through an 8-speed ZF Automatic. It will most likely feature AWD for all markets, making use of the latest in Jaguar's Intelligent Driveline Dynamics (IDD).

According to a Jaguar spokesperson, the F-Pace will not steal market share from its close cousins, the Range Rover. The F-Pace will enter a performance-oriented crossover segment that includes products such as the Porsche Macan, BMW X4 xDrive 35i, and the Infiniti QX70.

For the Indian market, the C-X17 Concept bowed at the Auto Expo 2014, giving the public a look at a "Jaguar SUV". So, it's possible that the F-Pace will start to appear on Indian roads next year, and maybe premiere at the 2016 Auto Expo.
