Following a facelift for the smaller Land Cruiser Prado, Toyota will soon introduce a facelift for the larger Land Cruiser LC200. Save for doors, windows and rear panels, designers have made changes to all other parts of the 2016 Land Cruiser.

The front fascia gets an all-new design with new headlight clusters, a larger 'wing-shape' grille and a new bumper with redesigned foglight enclosures. The new headlights would step up to LED illumination and also get LED daytime running lights.

While an image of the rear is unavailable, the design of the taillight clusters seem mildly altered, and also get LED elements for the stoplights. Based on a leaked document, it appears that Toyota designers have made changes throughout the SUV save for the doors, windows and rear panels.

The Land Cruiser in India is powered by a 4.5-liter V8 diesel engine.

Inside, the 2016 Land Cruiser will get an all-new center console with a larger entertainment screen and buttons that are better recessed on the console. A new white-on-black instrument cluster is also part of the update.

The 2016 Land Cruiser is bound to receive mechanical changes as well given that it has not seen updates in a while. Reports are suggestive of a 2.8-liter four-cylinder diesel unit, which could be part of the new 'GD' engine family.
