Details such as the new LED headlamps and taillamps give away the fact that it's the new Range Rover Evoque testing.

Although the facelifted Evoque test mule is fully covered, details such as the new LED headlamps and taillamps give away its identity. Other changes in tow include a honeycomb grille for Dynamic variant and enlarged air intakes, which now feature slim LED foglamps on the upper portion.

The only changes inside the Range Rover Evoque are the equipment offered. It now features an 8-inch touchscreen display powered by the InControl Touch infotainment system as standard and InControl Touch Plus with navigation for higher variants, a pair of eight-inch video screens and wireless digital headphones for rear passengers, and a 11- or 17-speaker Meridian audio system.

Since the Chinese market favors petrol-powered cars, the Evoque could likely retain the Ford-sourced 2.0-liter turbo engine with 240 hp.

For the European market, the facelifted Evoque comes with an all new 2.0L Ingenium diesel engine available in two states: 180 PS or 150 PS. Land Rover claims that the latter is 18 percent more efficient than the previous Ford-sourced diesel unit.

The Evoque could likely retain the Ford-sourced 2.0-liter turbo engine with 240 hp and peak torque of 340 Nm. The engine is paired to a 9-speed ZF automatic gearbox. Media reports say that the engine plant inside the Chinese facility will manufacture the Ingenium engine for all JLR products, but there have been no official updates on this subject.
