Likely to be positioned between the 200 NS and RS200.
Images surfacing on various social media channels show that Bajaj has not only started production of the eagerly awaited Pulsar RS200, but also of the 200 AS which has come under the scanner rather suddenly.
The 200 AS (Adventure Sports) is expected to slow between the 200 NS and the RS200 in terms of price. Where the RS200 is a fully-faired motorcycle, the 200 AS gets a half-fairing for an adventure-tourer look. Like the RS200, the 200 AS would also borrow its mechanical kit from the 200 NS.
Specifications of the Pulsar 200 AS are unavailable at this time, but expect a very similar power and torque, with the electricals, brakes, suspension and powertrain, unchanged. The triple-spark 199.5 cc single-cylinder engine makes 23.52 PS and 18.3 Nm of torque on the 200 NS for reference.

Certain reports stated that the 200 AS would replace the 220F, though the company has made no announcement on this. In fact, Bajaj has only confirmed the launch of the RS200 (for March 26), and as yet, a launch date for the 200 AS remains unannounced.
